jQuery's heading to Texas for the very first time, but we won't be having much of a conference without great speakers! Whether your'e an old hand or want to throw your hat in the ring for the first time, we'd love to hear from you.
jQuery is an important part of the front-end developer's toolkit, but it's only part of the story. That's why we're welcoming proposals that go above and beyond the latest and greatest in jQuery itself. Our goal is to have a conference about the real-world experiences and challenges of front-end development, and to explore the latest and greatest technologies that are changing what's possible on the Open Web!
CFP closes at 11:59pm EST on July 14, 2013.
If you have any questions about the CFP or your proposal, we're happy to help! E-mail
[email protected] or hop into the #jquery-content channel on Freenode. We also did a potential speaker Q&A session before our Portland conference, where we go into some more detail on what types of talks we're looking for and info on the process. (

The jQuery Foundation, thanks to donations and sponsors, is able to fund speaker travel and three nights hotel. Upon acceptance you'll receive a copy of our travel policy, which will include guidelines and maximums. Learn more about the conference at
