The Niemeyer Series comprises lectures and symposia focused on urgent matters of educational interest and is one of Bank Street's signature events. The Series is dedicated to the memory of John H. Niemeyer for his leadership in helping Bank Street College of Education become a national voice for children beyond practice and into policy. This year, our event is
Shaping the Future of Public Education in NYC: A Conversation with NYCPS Chancellor Melissa Avilés-Ramos, Deputy Chancellor Simone Hawkins, and Bank Street President Shael Polakow-Suransky. This conversation will be moderated by Tracy Fray-Oliver, Vice President, Bank Street Education Center.
This free event will take place in person on Tuesday, May 27, starting at 5:30 PM in the Tabas Auditorium at Bank Street College of Education (610 West 112th Street) and all are welcome to attend. A reception will follow. Please RSVP below to let us know if you'll be joining us.
