The Morton Arboretum Volunteer Group Workday Request

The Morton Arboretum occasionally has the opportunity to host both on and offsite group volunteer workdays. Volunteer group workdays are scheduled based on our needs, staff availability, and weather conditions.

We will contact groups when we have volunteer opportunities available during the growing season - typically May - October. Please note ~ that we do not host groups during the weeks of Earth Day or Arbor Day due to on-site programming and events.

All group volunteer workdays occur outdoors, and depending on the season, activities may include mulching, seed collecting, weeding, removing invasive plants, pruning, and cutting brush. On-site volunteers must be 18+ years old.
