Cornell Advanced Standing Examination (CASE) form for Physics for Fall 2024.The exam will be  administered exclusively in-person on Wednesday, August 21 at 12:30 pm EST in room 203 Rockefeller Hall. The deadline to sign-up is Thursday,  August 15 at 11:59 pm. You must sign-up using the form below in order to take the exam. Please plan to arrive by 12:15 pm in order for us to check you in. Please only sign-up ONCE to take the exam. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions about whether or not you've signed-up.
The Physics CASE Exams for Physics 1112 and 2213 will be administered exclusively in-person on Wednesday, August 21 at 12:30 pm EST.  You may use a non-graphing scientific calculator. You must also show your Cornell ID to verify your identity.

If you have previously taken the corresponding class at Cornell, or have taken an Advanced Placement exam that would have placed you out of the corresponding class, you are NOT eligible to take the CASE exam for credit.   This information will be verified by the registrar's office before advanced standing credit is awarded to you.
