10 | 1 | Make sure the participants of your bracket are using the template above. |
11 | 2 | Have your participants follow the instructions for preparing and sharing their bracket with the bracket manager. |
12 | 3 | Once the bracket has been shared with the bracket manager, open the partipants bracket and look for the tab called [Name] Bracket Data. (Not the Bracket Builder tab). |
13 | 4 | Click on the little arrow on near the tab name and choose Copy to...choose this spreadsheet as the destination. |
14 | 5 | Go to the 'Entries' tab and type their name in the name column starting in row 3. You should see the bracket number column automatically assign. |
15 | 6 | Go to the tab for the partipants and rename the tab with the Bracket number. For example, "Bracket 1". |
16 | 7 | Go back to the 'Entries' tab and remove the name from the name box and then type it back in. |
17 | 8 | Check the 'Points' tab to make sure the bracket synced. |

21 | 1 | The 'Points' tab will automatically score all brackets against the actual results. If you want to change the point system you can. The 'Standings' tab will show a leaderboard of all of the scores for participants in the bracket. |

24 | 1 | The 'Full Bracket' tab uses the importrange() function to pull data in from a master spreadsheet. Jeff maintains the master spreadsheet and will update as quickly as possible. Make sure you don't edit anything on the 'Full Bracket' tab otherwise your bracket will stop working correctly. |
25 | 2 | As long as the individual bracket for each participant is on this spreadsheet and the tab is named correctly according to the 'Bracket Configuration' tab, everything will sync. |
26 | 3 | The 'Points' tab looks for the tabs with the correct names and pulls the data onto the 'Points' tab for each registered bracket. Each choice is scored against the actual results on this tab. |
27 | 4 | The 'Standings' tab will look at the 'Points' tab and sort everyone by the person with the most points. |
