IMPORTANT:
5
Information in all tabs of the document is here for historical purposes. Students who declared in Fall 2020 or later should see the UG Record for
6
officially approved Integration Electives. They should also see https://bit.ly/bacs-integration-electives for information about pettitions or courses
7
not listed on the page linked in the UG Record. Note: when looking at the UG Record, choose the current or an archived version that matches your
8
official "Requirements Term" as listed in SIS, as requirements change from year to year.
9
10
Students can find lists of courses approved to count as Integration Electives for the BACS in this spreadsheet.
11
The approved lists can change from year to year, and you will see a "tab" at the bottom of this window with a name that indicates the academic year that list was approved in. For example, "AY19-20" indicates the list was approved for the academic year from Fall 2019 through Summer 2020.
12
13
Please read the following notes carefully.
14
15
Note 1:Students who were declared BACS majors as of Spring 2019 are allowed to count any of the courses in the AY18-19 list, as long as they take them no later than Fall 2019. See Note 5 below too!
16
Courses taken in Spring 2020 and later must be on the approved lists for AY19-20.
17
18
Note 2:Students who declared in Summer 2019, including newly arriving transfer students, are subject to the same rule defined in Note 1 above.
19
20
Note 3:Students who declare in Fall 2019, Spring 2020, or Summer 2020 must use courses on the approved lists for AY19-20.
21
22
Note 4:
Students may petition for a course not on the list to be counted. The rules and process for petitioning are described in a separate section below.
23
Courses that have been petitioned by other students are listed in the Petitions tab. Those listed there as Approved can be used by any student, but you will need to contact the CS office to ask for a SIS exception to be entered for you once you are enrolled in it. They will not automatically be recognized by SIS until a petiton is entered.
24
25
Note 5:The list for AY18-19 is a mix of courses recognized by SIS and those where we need to enter a SIS exception.
26
If you take one of these, check SIS's Academic Requirements report to see if it appears in your report as counting as an integration elective.
27
If it does not, contact the CS office to ask that a SIS exception be entered for this course once you are enrolled in it.
